Looking unto God

lo

TRUE FAITH
WAITS AND LOOKS TO GOD

Psalm 123:2  Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the LORD our God, until that he have mercy upon us. (KJV)

Psalm 131:1  LORD, I have given up my pride and turned away from my arrogance. I am not concerned with great matters or with subjects too difficult for me.

Psalm 131:2  Instead, I am content and at peace. As a child lies quietly in its mother’s arms, so my heart is quiet within me.

Psalm 131:3  Israel, trust in the LORD now and forever!

Habbakuk 2:3  For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

Habbakuk 2:4  Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.

All the scriptures above are attempts to portray the point this article seeks to address, as you meditate prayerfully, using scriptures to interpret scritures, may the Lord give you light. Amen.

Looking unto God and waiting on God is a life of faith which God desires He will find his children intentionally embracing on daily basis perpetually and not an act of faith we are compelled to live when life situations are overwhelming and we are without doubt helpless or when we have ran out of options and alternatives.

To trust God’s soveriegn wisdom and believing He is the one that rules in the affairs of men so much that we are rested in His hand is the True Faith which pleases God.

Looking at the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, we can see here and there examples of this expression of faith for our learning and obedience.

Our generation has missed a pivotal truth on which bible faith is rooted, recent men has preached another gospel, twisted God’s word to impress a worldy wisdom that suggest Faith is to desire a thing for your own good and as you probably support with some scriptures and pursue same with all vigor without resourse to the Father in heaven, if that would be His will per time or not as long as it is a good thing and when you are successful at it, you claim the trophy of having obtained same by faith, hence, misleading many out of the true faith that perceives the mind of God on a matter, which may either align or not aligned with your natural desire, and sometimes, in a difficult development or situation for which we think God can never allow for us His children, but Faith in our heart accepts to stay where God is on the matter, damning all consequence just to please God, because without faith it is impossible to please God. Whatever it is, we will wait if we trust God, and then we will see all things working together for our good.

Hebrews chapter 11 told us several dimensions of this bible faith even before expressed by the life, endurance, death and resurrection of Jesus as highlighted in Hebrews chapter 12.

Among the heroes of faith were those who drew God’s intervention by His power ofor deliverance and the miraculous, pleasing God, and others were sown into pieces yet by faith they held on to waiting and trusting in God, denying deliverance.
